ABOUT US
Tarheel PGx Consulting is a healthcare consulting company that helps people to get on the right medications based on their DNA using pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing. We can also use your DNA results to help you optimize your nutrition and wellness by using nutrigenomic (NGx) testing.
Led by Dr. Melissa Turner, an Independent Consultant Pharmacist, our mission is for you to experience a better life by helping you and your providers make more informed decisions about medications based on your genetic profile. Your genetics not only determine your physical traits that can be seen, but it also determines how your body responds to medications and how it uses vitamins and minerals.
We specialize in providing precision medicine and nutrition management through the use of genetic testing and comprehensive medication management.
We also provide 3 and 6 month packages to help patients with their mental health. In the 6 month package, you can choose between an anxiety or depression focus. In addition to the genetic testing, those packages also include a spiritual component where we will walk through the Bible. We will look at a a variety of scripture verses and stories to see how God wants us to take care of all aspects of our body: the physical, mental, and spiritual.
