Have you ever taken a medication that didn't work for you? Have you ever stopped taking medications because of bad side effects? Are you worried that the mix of medications you're taking doesn't work well together or are causing more problems than benefits?
These are common questions faced by millions of people just like you. Finding the correct mix of medicines that work specifically for your body can be a struggle, can waste your time and cost you lots of money in worthless prescriptions.
Fortunately, there is a solution. By using a combination of Genetic Testing and Comprehensive Medication Management, your medications can be customized so they work perfectly for you and your body.
We can help you
We're passionate about helping you and your healthcare providers make
more informed decisions about which medications are best for you based on your DNA.
After a brief consultation, we'll be able to map out a plan for helping you find
the right medications that are personalized just for you.
Genetic Testing
Pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing can tell you which medications match best with your DNA. Forget the trial-and-error approach. Know ahead of time which medications you should and should not take.
Nutrigenomic (NGx) testing can tell you how your genetics affect your nutrition and wellness needs.
Comprehensive Medication and Nutrition Management
Proper management of your prescription and over-the-counter medications will make sure that your medicines work the way they were intended.
How do variations in your DNA affect the foods you should eat and the type of exercises you should do? Do changes in your DNA impact your ability to sleep, think, and remember?
Personalized
Care
Our independent consultant pharmacist will talk with you one-on-one, to help you understand what the results from your genetic test mean, because we want you to get the best in personalized care.
How does genetic testing help me choose the right mix of medications?
Your DNA determines so much of who you are. The color of your skin, hair, and eyes is determined by your DNA. How you process and respond to medications is also affected by your genetics. Variations in your DNA make you a unique individual. Therefore, the medication and dose that you need to work in your body will not be the same as everyone else. Medicine is not a one-size-fits-all approach. By testing your DNA, you will be able to know how you may respond to over 100 medications. You will know which drugs you are likely to help you and which drugs may cause you harm.
Comprehensive medication management (CMM) is a process to make sure you are taking the right medication(s) and dose(s) for your body. There are many factors that affect how well a medication will work. The strength and dose of the medication, your age, other prescription and over-the-counter medications (vitamins, herbals, supplements) and your liver and kidney function. It is important for you to know why you are taking a certain medication and if there are any drug-drug, drug-disease, or drug-gene interactions. Reviewing your medications to make sure you are taking them at the right time and talking about how to manage side effects is also a part of the CMM process. A medication may need be stopped or changed based on the review in the hopes of avoiding negative outcomes and decreasing your medication burden. A care plan is developed to address any changes that need to be made and is communicated to you and your provider(s). CMM is not a one time process. It is necessary to follow-up and re-evaluate the plan to assess outcomes and address any changes that need to be made.
What are the benefits of comprehensive medication management?
As a retired healthcare professional, I am a believer in the value of PGX testing. Dr Melissa Turner was very professional and explained to me the results of my test. I was very pleased.

How can I save money on my medications?
You can save money on your medications by getting on the right drug and dose the first time. By knowing ahead of time, based on your pharmacogenomic test results, which medication is best for you, you will have less trips to the doctor for medication check-ups and fewer trips to the pharmacy to pick up a medication that would not work for you.
In 2017, the Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Kentucky began a program for their members using pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing and comprehensive medication management (CMM). The goal was to provide their members with personalized medication management, decrease medical costs and the amount of healthcare resources that were used.
The results showed that by using the patient's PGx data and a CMM program to assess for incorrect medication use, approximately $7,000 per patient was saved in direct medical costs.
There was also an average savings of $218.34 per patient per month, compared to those who did not participate in PGx testing.
We want to help you save money on your healthcare and prescription drug costs.
We can do that by learning how your DNA may affect your response to the medications you currently take and the medications you may need in the future.
